Cool Maths Strategy 14.06.18

This week I learnt a strategy called Multiplying Written Algorithms and here's one of the math problems I did.

So what you do is you multiply all of the numbers by 6 So 5x6=30 and you take the 0 from the 30 and put it in the answer. So what you have is a 0 but what do you do with the 3 you put it above the 4 in the question and then you do 4x6 and that =24 but then you still have that 3 that is above the 4. So what you do with the 3 is you add it on the 24 that you got from 4x6, It's basically 24+3=27 so now you have a 7 and a 0 for your answer, But you still have the 2 from 27 and what you do with the 2 is you put it on top of the 7 and then you multiply 7x6= 42 and then you have the 2 so 42+2=44 and then you have 44 so you add the 44 on the 7 and the 0 and get 4470.
